Public Events at The Hodges Family Farm
For the better part of the year we are a private, fully operational farm. We do offer venue rentals for weddings and photography. However, we open our doors to the public for special events throughout the year! Read more about those below.
Open: Easter Weekend
Come out to the farm in the Spring for an Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Weekend! In honor of the many Easter weekends spent at the Farm with our family – having egg hunts, blowing bubbles, playing with the bunnies – we thought it would be the perfect time of the year to open our gates to the public and allow our friends and family to come join us! The Hippie Festival
Open: April 22nd
A fun weekend with hundreds of vendors, musical guests, and entertainment.
The Pumpkin Patch
Open: The last weekend of September – October 31st
October is near and dear to our family’s heart! This is where our public events all started over a decade ago. Uncle Frankie’s favorite month was October because his birthday was October 23rd! What better way to celebrate than by inviting the public to come enjoy some time on the farm. Farmer Connor’s birthday is also in October on the 25th, so be sure to come out and celebrate with him and us as we keep the tradition going! Learn more about our main event by clicking here.
Christmas Tree Lot
Open: Black Friday – Until supplies last
We begin selling Christmas Trees the day after Thanksgiving every year. All of our Christmas Trees are Fraser Fir Trees grown in the North Carolina mountains, just like the tree that was displayed in the White House in 2015! North Carolina is renowned for some of the most stunning Christmas trees of all the states and even the world. Click here for more information about the Christmas Tree Lot.
