Public Events at Hodges Family Farm

For the better part of the year, we are a private, fully operational farm.
However, we open our doors to the public for special events throughout the year!

Annual Spring Fling

Come out to the farm in the Spring for an Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Fling! In honor of the many Easter weekends spent at the Farm with our family – having egg hunts, blowing bubbles, playing with the bunnies – each year we open our gates to the public and allow friends and family to join us! Farm Shop

Throughout the spring and summer our Farm Shop is open offering Hodges farm-raised beef and pork, local honey. fresh produce, fresh cut herbs and sunflowers (seasonal). Please check our Facebook page for a list of up to date offerings.

Annual Pumpkin Patch

September 28 – October 31, 2019

October is near and dear to our family’s heart! This is where our public events started over a decade ago. Uncle Frankie’s favorite month was October because his birthday was October 23rd! Farmer Connor’s birthday is also in October on the 25th, so be sure to come out and celebrate with him and us as we keep the tradition going! Learn more about our main event by clicking here.

Annual Antique Tractor & Engine Show

October 19-20, 2019

This family-friendly event is a Farm favorite! Come out and enjoy the antique tractors and farm equipment, watch (or participate in) the tractor pulls, enjoy yummy treats, and more. For information on the event, including how to be a vendor, please visit: stumptowntractor.com

Christmas Tree Lot

Closed in 2018 due to widespread tree shortage

Each year, we begin selling Christmas Trees the day after Thanksgiving. All of our Christmas Trees are Fraser Fir Trees grown in the North Carolina mountains, just like the tree that was displayed in the White House in 2015! North Carolina is renowned for some of the most stunning Christmas trees of all the states and even the world. Click here for more information about our Christmas Tree Lot.
